History

Play by Electron Games was originally created to run commerical play-by-email games, specifically Eldritch, Monsters!, and Iron Kings. The company ran successful games from 1999 through 2007, when real world commitments led to the shutdown of all games.

We've made available the most recent versions of the game rules for Eldritch, Monsters!, and Iron Kings.

Currently Play by Electron Games is somewhat idle. We continue to support our dice roller and have some plans to extend its capabilities. Additional game-oriented, web-based tools may be in the works.

New Stuff

The dice roller is now completely rewritten in PHP with all the features of the original available. We've also added message signatures and a message verification page to insure rolls can be verified.
